The Mining Gazette recently wrote an article giving a glimpse into one of our multiple educational program awardees. While the MSGC funded project is “Engaging High School Women and Native Americans in Rural Communities in Environmental Science and Engineering STEM Career Paths” the article focuses on one particular Watersmeet High School student’s visit to MTU. Assiniis Chosa an 11th grader, had the opportunity to step back into the real world from the virtual platform that we’ve been living in the past year and explore a possible future studying life sciences at MTU.
